New Contributor Intro & Slack Access
Hi Airflow Dev Team,
I'm Sai Sriram Dodda. I am a Python developer looking to become a long-term
contributor to Apache Airflow and prepare accordingly.Could someone please
share an active invitation link to the official Airflow Slack workspace and
also guide me for further things?I am eager to set up my local environment
and start tackling beginner issues.
Thanks,
Sai,

Hi Sai,
I would visit this page. It has all the links you would need (including the
one for the slack community):
https://airflow.apache.org/community/
For guidance, I would refer to the contributors' guide here:
https://github.com/apache/airflow/blob/main/contributing-docs/README.rst
If you want something to start with, I would filter the issue list using
the 'good first issue' label. And then pick one you are most comfortable
with. If you can't find any existing issue that you want to tackle, perhaps
you could open a PR for an issue you personally faced (it could be as
simple as missing or incorrect documentation).
There is a 'new-contributors' channel in Slack if you want more help.
