I tested Apache Spark (master branch) with Hive 2.3.7-SNAPSHOT (on JDK8) on Scala 2.12.10 / OpenJDK 64-Bit Server VM 11.0.4 and updated the JIRA description. The followings are verified.
- SHOW DATABASES / TABLES
- DESC DATABASE / TABLE
- CREATE / DROP / USE DATABASE
- CREATE / DROP / SELECT TABLE
