Note that the install instructions are removed completely in master, since https://gitlab.com/BuildStream/buildstream/-/merge_requests/872. I have not backported that, mainly because https://buildstream.build/install.html still directs readers to them under "Advanced / Developer Installation Instructions" heading:
> For other installation options (such as installing dependencies and building BuildStream from source) visit the BuildStream docs and follow the installation instructions there.
