[logging] x4juli 0.6 released (a native JCL implementation)

Hello,

I am pleased to announce the availability of x4juli 0.6:
A port of log4j to java.util.logging is the new x4juli.
x4juli - e(x)tension for(4) the (j)ava util(u) (l)ogging (i)mplemantion.

x4juli delivers a native implementation of the Jakarta Commons Logging (JCL)
API.
There is just a wrapper interface in use, but no wrapper classes anymore.
This has performance advantages and gives full and correct
location information. You still need commons-logging.jar (it is required for
x4juli) and have the full freedom of choice where to log, since the
activation is property based.
Additionally there is a native implementation of slf4j.

More information can be found at the x4juli project homepage:
http://www.x4juli.org/

x4juli is available in binary and source form from
the x4juli downloads page:

Best regards
Boris
