Unconditional assert in SXSSF?
SXSSF looks terrific. great contribution. However, I've run into a snag
converting our application to use it. In POI 3.8, the first line of
SXSSFRow.getCell(int, MissingCellPolicy) is:
assert false;
.which of course means the method can't be called if asserts are on. Is
there a good reason for this assert?
Thanks,
Adam
Re: Unconditional assert in SXSSF?
Posted by Yegor Kozlov <ye...@dinom.ru>.
This particular assert means that SXSSFRow.getCell(int,
MissingCellPolicy) is not yet covered by unit tests and *may* not be
compatible with XSSF.
This line will be removed in the future. Can you create a request in
POI Bugzilla so that we don't forget about it?
