     [ https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/NETBEANS-2438?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:all-tabpanel ]

Walter Kruse resolved NETBEANS-2438.
------------------------------------
    Resolution: Fixed

This was fixed with a workaround to the existing Pure Groovy Project plugin. No need for new feature development. Details in comments.

> As a test automator using Groovy scripting, when I create a new project I want to be able to:
> -create a Groovy project (with or without Maven/Ivy)
> -that will be able to run a classless script
> -execute @Grab statements to collect jars upon executing
> Test case:
> {{groovy.grape.Grape.grab(group:'org.apache.commons', module:'commons-lang3', version:'3.3.2')}}
> {{def s = "A silly string with words"}}
> {{assert org.apache.commons.lang3.text.WordUtils.capitalizeFully(s) == 'A Silly String With Words'}}
> or:
> {{@Grab(group='org.apache.commons', module='commons-lang3', version='3.3.2')}}
> {{def s = "A silly string with words"}}
> {{assert org.apache.commons.lang3.text.WordUtils.capitalizeFully(s) == 'A Silly String With Words'}}
> At the moment I am using [~GeertjanWielenga]'s Pure Groovy Project from [http://plugins.netbeans.org/plugin/49928/pure-groovy-project]
