[jira] [Commented] (LUCENE-9807) Broken links on download page

    [ https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/LUCENE-9807?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=17289410#comment-17289410 ]

Robert Muir commented on LUCENE-9807:
-------------------------------------

Looks like a good catch to me. The current download page seems to link to outdated releases, which are basically broken links? The apache mirror system helps the user and they may see the link the archive, but why link to old releases.

> Key: LUCENE-9807
> URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/LUCENE-9807
> Project: Lucene - Core
> Issue Type: Bug

> Priority: Major
>
> The download page contains details for version 8.7.0, however all the links are broken - the version is not present on the mirrors.
> However, version 7.7.3 is present on the mirrors, but is not linked.
> Something has gone wrong here.
