dataScroller and bug?

After adding a base href tag to my pages all t:dataScrollers started
redirecting to the root of the webapp instead of the page where they were
previously.

 

This is resolved by removing the base tag, but I need this in my
application.

 

Is this a bug or an erroneous configuration on my part?

 

I am using the following:

 

myfaces-api-1.1.4-SNAPSHOT.jar

myfaces-impl-1.1.4-SNAPSHOT.jar

tomahawk-1.1.3-SNAPSHOT.jar

myfaces-shared-tomahawk-2.0.2-SNAPSHOT.jar
