[jira] Created: (JSPWIKI-494) Plugin to retrieve all defined users for a wiki

Plugin to retrieve all defined users for a wiki
-----------------------------------------------

                 Key: JSPWIKI-494
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/JSPWIKI-494
             Project: JSPWiki
          Issue Type: Improvement
          Components: Plugins
            Reporter: Bruno Peeters
            Priority: Minor

Currently the userdatabase.xml file contains all users defined for an installed wiki. In our environment, I do not have direct access to this file, although I am the (functional) administrator of the wiki - our technical guys take care of this.

I would be interested in a plugin that would show me all users defined for a wiki. On a page only accessible by an admin user, this plugin could be invoked.

Has this improvement already been suggested before ?

Although there is no such plugin at the moment, there is an Admin.jsp that shows you all users and groups, is that something usable ?

[jira] Resolved: (JSPWIKI-494) Plugin to retrieve all defined users for a wiki

Posted by "Janne Jalkanen (JIRA)" <ji...@apache.org>.

Janne Jalkanen resolved JSPWIKI-494.
------------------------------------

    Resolution: Won't Fix

/admin/Admin.jsp contains user lists and allows you to even manipulate their info.

Also, page restrictions would not be sufficient, since an user could add the plugin on any page.
