[GitHub] [streampipes] dominikriemer opened a new issue, #518: Store pipeline element descriptions in CouchDB storage

dominikriemer opened a new issue, #518:
URL: https://github.com/apache/streampipes/issues/518

Currently, pipeline element descriptions are stored in an RDF4J database in the core. All other models are already stored in CouchDB. The RDF4J database has performance issues leading to rather long loading times when installing new pipeline elements.

To harmonize the storage of models and speed-up the installation of new pipeline elements, pipeline element descriptions should be stored in a CouchDB database.

Imported from Jira [STREAMPIPES-376](https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/STREAMPIPES-376). Original Jira may contain additional context.
   Reported by: riemer.
