Would it be possible to provide other logging means for the Win32 folks?  I 
find it tedious to check System Event logs in Windows, I very much dislike them.

But on the flip side, the event log is self maintaining so it might be nice to 
use this for it's roll-over effects.

Another downside it the lack of ease at accessing the event log.  If it was a 
standard text file, one could easily make a program to parse data out of the 
log and do whatever is needed.  With event log, this is harder.  It's even hard 
to select and copy a piece of text from the event viewer.  If you right click 
you get "whats this" isted of cut, copy, paste.
