About project site
Hi Jiajia,
The recent project site looks good. Some comments:
Ref. the following, maybe we could rename 1.0.0-RC1-APIs to 1.0.0.-rc1, because we may have more contents other than just APIs related to put it in.
$ ls -1 docs
1.0.0-RC1-APIs/
1.0.0-RC2-APIs/
Another, better to display the ASN1 picture (thanks to Emmanuel) in doc pages.
Thanks.
Regards,
Kai

Cool! So we can maintain the docs or the site in the codebase together, instead of having to copy back and forth. Note the developer resources are limited.

Appreciate your kindness and consideration. Thanks!

We definitively have to move the 'official' web site to git, so that it can be a sub-project of kerby. That would make it way more convenient for you guys.
What are the issues you have with the current web site? How can I help ?

Everything that is pushed to the web site goes to
directory.staging.apache.org/kerby. We have to publish it to get it on
directory.apache.org/kerby.
I just have done it.

The CMS system in use at Apache works in two phases :
- first you commit your updates into SVN/git, and it is published on a staging site. You can control the rendering before it gets visible to the world.
- then when you are happy with the result, you can publish it on the production site, using a browser plugin
The description is on http://www.apache.org/dev/cmsref.html
Actually, it's not a plugin but a bookmarklet. This page
(https://cms.apache.org/#bookmark) explains how to install it (at the
bottom) :
"Please be sure to install the bookmarklet on your browser toolbar by either dragging and dropping the ASF CMS <javascript:void(location.href='https://cms.apache.org/redirect?uri='+escape(location.href))>
link to your toolbar or by creating a new bookmark by either right-clicking on that link and selecting "Bookmark this Link", or by opening a "New Bookmark" dialog screen from your browser's menu and typing the following into the Location/URL field:
javascript:void(location.href='https://cms.apache.org/redirect?uri='+escape(location.href))"
This link allows you to browse the staging site edit it from the browser, and more important, to publish it. (I actually never edited the staging site from the browser : the UI is way to crude ;-)

Making the web site to be a sub-project of kerby is a good idea. It will save some work in the future.

The problem is that it's not what users are seeing.
It would be cool to update the real site instead of pushing the infos on a github repo which is not the direct facade for Kerby. All in all, the format is the same (markdown) and if needed, we can switch to git for the site (it's currently on svn, ftr).
