Solved! RE: Invalid virtual host name on WebAppDeploy

FYI:

I manged to bind Tomcat4.0 to Apache on Win2k by
adding the following lines in httpd.conf:

	LoadModule webapp_module modules/mod_webapp.so
	AddModule mod_webapp.c

and at the very end (which was the important point) of the file

	#################Virtual Host############
	<VirtualHost *>
	    ServerName localhost
	    ErrorLog logs/error_log
	    CustomLog logs/access_log common
	   WebAppConnection warpconn warp     localhost:8008
	   WebAppDeploy     examples warpconn /examples/
	   WebAppInfo /web-inf
	</VirtualHost>

Hi Roman,

I tried that before like
ServerName localhost
but it didn't change the error. I'm afraid there is another bug in my .conf,
although I didn't change much. If you wouldn't mind, I'd like to ask you, if
you can mail me your httpd.conf for comparison.

Thanks
Falko

Hello Falko,

'Invalid virtual host name' was also a problem in my configuration.
The solution is to enable and assign 'ServerName' in httpd.conf.

Regards
Roman
