Hmm - doesn't your trial download include javadocs?

This is a difficult situation, I'm not sure whether the ASF can help here.
Unfortunately I'll be on vacation for the next three weeks and cannot handle it
myself but will ask around whether anybody has contacts into Borland after that.

We have a third option, Steve.  If anybody else can fix the 5.2 problem and you
can verify that the fix doesn't break 5.1 support, this could work.  It "just"
yeat another layer of indirection when compared to fixes committed to many other
optional tasks - commit in good faith, or se.
