IOExceptions at startup
Hello,
I get several exeptions when starting my xindice server.
I think I've made all the path-settings correctly.
How can I solve these problems,
here is my stack-trace:

XPath logical AND question

Hi all,
I'm wondering if someone knows the answer off the top of their head - I
want to create an XPath query against Xindice that will select a result
only if two conditions are true.
Here's the bginning of the XPAth query:
"/jWideUser[username/text()=kanarinka]";
I need to select based on username AND password, however, and I can't
seem to find the syntax in XPAth for doing something like this:
"/jWideUser[username/text()=kanarinka] &&
/jWideUser[password/text()=kpwd]"
Anyone know how to do this?

I believe that v1.4 includes the "crimson" parser. you can specify the location of *.jar to use before the system libs with:
-Djava.endorsed.dirs="%JAVA_ENDORSED_DIRS%"
where JAVA_ENDORSED_DIRS is the location of Xerces, Xalan, etc.

OK, I worked out that you are talking about the 'Endorsed Standards Override Mechanism', so I put the xalan and xerces jars from the Xindice distribution into lib/endorsed of the JRE, and everything seems to
work fine. It looks like you were right.
