Cocoon 1.7.4 and FOP 0.14
Hello all
I had problems getting 1.7.4 work together with FOP 0.14. Replacing
the distributed jar file (fop_0_12_1.jar) and adding w3c.jar does
not seem to be enough.
FOP 0.14 has interesting new features missing in 0.12. So if anybody
else is interested in that and has some experience. Tell me.
I can give you the stack trace that I had after replacing the packages,
if you want ...

Then I assume that you also have to patch the FO2PDFFormatter in Cocoon:
Add these these two lines to the format() method of
org.apache.cocoon.formatter.FO2PDFFormatter:
driver.addPropertyList("org.apache.fop.fo.StandardPropertyListMapping");
driver.addPropertyList("org.apache.fop.svg.SVGPropertyListMapping");
Then I think you also have to update the xalan and the xerces packages
to their newest versions.
I did not yet have the time to try this out, but I will do so soon. And
I am pretty positive that it could work.

I have the same problem as Alexander here: Cocoon 1.7.4 and FOP 0.14 working
together. If anyone has any tips on how to replace the FOP 0.12 with FOP
0.14 in the Cocoon 1.7.4 install, please post!
