release status?
Hi All,
Just wondering where everyone is w.r.t. our release.
I'm not sure where the following items stand:
- WS-Policy
- WS-RM
- Using the JaxWsServerFactoryBean in tools instead of the javaprocessor.
This will help ensure that our java2wsdl works correct for both the runtime
and tooling.
- porting of old style property editor config to new spring 2 config style.
James are you working on this?
- bundle jar - Bo are you working on this?
I have a few things on my personal todo list yet:
- Finish cleanup of config (in process - I'm working on
jaxws:client/endpoint and cleaning those up)
- port some fixes for the aegis module from xfire
- save destinations inside http/jms modules
I would like to cut a RC early next week if possible. I know I can get my
things done before then (and hopefully a bit more as well). Where does
everyone else stand? Please speak up if early next week isn't feasible for
you. :-)
- Dan

We have ported almost all the existing testcases, and reported bunch of
issues.
I feel that we need at least another week to fix all the reported issues.
James.

Hi Dan,
We already checked in the jaxwsserverfactorybean, and the test is under
cxf/tools/javato/src/test/java/org/apache/cxf/tools/java2wsdl/processor/internal/jaxws/
I planned to test the all the current test against the
jaxwsserverfactorybean, after that we can safely switch to that.
If you want jump in,just port all the tests from previous tests to that.
Thanks,
James.

Hi James,
Let me know where I (or others?) can pitch in. We're using the
jaxwsserverfactory bean for the wsdl that is created when we call ?wsdl
anyway, so if there are major bugs we need to fix them very soon.
Regards,
- Dan

I'll work on this, but i can not switch to jaxwsserverfactorybean
before i fix the bugs.
I don't know if i's possible to switch to jaxwsserverfactorybean in this
release.
I'll log all the issues on jira.

No, I haven't got time on this yet. Please feel free to attack it if you got a chance. :-)
