Preferred platform for openmeetings

I'm sure this is a FAQ, but is there a preferred deployment platform
for Open Meetings. I've seen references to Ubuntu and Fedora, but given
I'm starting an absolute fresh install without constraint to the
platform, which one should I go for?

Both the Debian and Ubuntu install guides are in the OM wiki under tutorials related to openmeetings.
