[beanutils/collections] Wrapping Collections and Maps as JavaBean

Is there utility to adapt Collections and Maps to make them conform to 
javabean spec so that them can be used in BeanUtils?

e.g. wrappint Map.get(...) as MapWrapper.getItem(...)
