Stale Sessions

Hi,

I want to create a custom page to handle stale sessions, can anyone
point me to some documentation on how do this.

Thanks
Peter

You can use an InfrastructureOverride for that:

<contribution configuration-id="tapestry.InfrastructureOverrides">
  <property name="staleSessionPageName" value="MyStaleSessionPage" />
</contribution>

As far as I can tell from googling a bit it no longer works like that. I
think you need to implement some sort of Infrastructure override service
in the hivemodule.xml

Peter

Have not tried this myself but this might work

<contribution configuration-id="tapestry.InfrastructureOverrides">
  <property name="staleSessionPageName" value="MyStaleSessionPage"/>
</contribution>

add it to your hivemoudule.xml

This works, there's also the hivemind approach, there was a thread 2 weeks
ago with the same subject.

Can you describe this? Are you running into a StaleLink issue? Have you
defined a
custom StaleLink page?

In the old days, it happed like this:

Define in your *.application:

<page name="StaleSession"
specification-path="tapestry/page/StaleSession.page"/>

Not sure however wether this has changed in de newer versions of tapestry.

There is one issue I still have: It works with a directlink, but apparently
not with a page link.

Regards,
Lennart
