logging error on 5.0/OS X 10.2.2

I'm using OS X 10.2.2 and JDK 1.3.1.

When I run my application on Tomcat 5.0, I get the following error:

java.lang.ExceptionInInitializerError:
org.apache.commons.logging.LogConfigurationException:
org.apache.commons.logging.LogConfigurationException:
org.apache.commons.logging.LogConfigurationException: Class

	at org.apache.commons.logging.LogFactory.getLog(LogFactory.java:390)

Is this a known issue?

Thanks,

Matt
