svn log very slow through http:// ?
Hi,
I am running subversion using the DAV module under
apache2. While for normal operations like check in/out
etc. where things are fine, I found that svn log is
very slow. I have tried to do it using tortoise from
another Window machine as well as just svn log
http://localhost/myrepos.
Is this a normal behaviour ? I do have basic
authentication through the apache PAM module.

Yes, it is normal. If your server is running 1.1.1 or higher of
Subversion, you can add this directive to your <Location> to improve
performance:
SVNPathAuthz Off
