Do you think that you could provide a patch for that? I'd be happy to apply it.

See npanday copy-dependencies goal for guidance (should be found in resolve-plugin). I would love to have PDBs and XMLs copied along in copy-dependencies too - i use that goal instead of the VS-plugin.
