authentication using unix authentication

Hi for all
I need to authenticate users in apache using my user and password in unix.
Can anyone help me?

First read
http://httpd.apache.org/docs/misc/FAQ.html#passwdauth

Then if you have absolutely no care for security, move along to
http://modules.apache.org/ where you will find things like
mod_auth_external, mod_auth_sys, and mod_auth_pam.
