[jira] [Commented] (TEZ-4168) Speed up TestRecoveryService

    [ https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/TEZ-4168?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=17097047#comment-17097047 ]

Jonathan Turner Eagles commented on TEZ-4168:
---------------------------------------------

Before: 40.884s
After: 1.037s

Issue is using a real clock versus simulated clock. Once a simulated clock was in place, the drain mechanism wasn't sufficient as the recovery service takes the event out of the queue before processing so the tests would check hflush state before the flush action would take place.
