[jira] [Closed] (SYNCOPE-508) Entitlement inheritance
[ https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/SYNCOPE-508?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:all-tabpanel ]
Francesco Chicchiriccò closed SYNCOPE-508.
------------------------------------------
Resolution: Not a Problem
There is no need to introduce entitlement inheritance: currently entitlements are only for Syncope internal usage, e.g. entitlements are given upon successful authentication to users, based on their roles (and ancestors).
As a result, any authenticated user gets assigned all entitlements for the owned roles and for all ancestors of such roles.
This means that entitlements are always inherited.
