   ### What problem does this feature solve?
   I use the chart.on API to register for click event. The callback has params object passed with various information. However, I am also interested in the original MouseEvent object that is passed to any html event handlers. At the moment I use globalThis.event but that is not a good workaround.
   
   ### What does the proposed API look like?
   Three options are possible.
   
   1. Add "event" to the params object.
   
   2. Pass "event" as the second argument to the handler.
   
   3. Use CustomEvent with the detail having both params and the original browser event (this will break the current API and probably not a good idea)
