[PATCH]es for font readers and kerning rendering

		Hello,

	Not that it is that much important but I noticed the bug report about 
forgotten last character in font readers.  During the patching of the 
TTFReader I also improved the conversion of values to String.

	Unrelated is the improvement on the usage of the StringBuffer while 
adding kerning in the PDFRenderer.

	Oops!  I forgot to join the patch for the org.apache.fop.fonts.PFMFile 
yesterday.  Here it is.
