Gavin commented on INFRA-10067:
-------------------------------
FWIW some issues that are closed as 'WONT FIX' , when re-opened also stay sticky to the 'Wont Fix' resolution, we have some tickets re-opened as Waiting For Infra and Wont Fix resolution right now. Whether or not that info absolves auto-close methods needs to be investigated.

> The auto close routine is causing an interesting effect. When an issue goes into 'Pending Closed' as a _RESOLUTION_, it essentially becomes invisible, because all of the normal ways to view tickets look for 'Unresolved' as a status. Even if someone changes the _STATUS_ to 'Waiting for Infra', the ticket remains invisible, because all of the Jira tooling is looking for Unresolved as a _RESOLUTION_.
> If we can't fix this quickly, lets disable the auto close routine, until we can figure it out.
