RE: April release candidates
Hi Gary,
Do you know if the RC release will publish a usable jar in maven central for Crypto? We’ve waiting on the release so we can upgrade to Ubuntu 22.04 which uses OpenSSL 3.x (context here<https://lists.apache.org/thread/vy8o0q8s1cqs046xpk8tbn4qtlq4yp7b>). If not, we’re unfortunately going to have to internally fork Crypto and make our own release this week to avoid compliance issues due to Ubuntu 20.04 going EOL imminently. I’d love to avoid this if we can – just wanted to see if you had any more specifics on when a released jar would become available?
Cheers,
Callum

Hello Callum,
Thank you for reaching out.
I can't give you a precise schedule today but I doubt that a crypto release
candiate will be available this week as I have a few other releases on my
to do list but I will do my best to work on it this week. No promises
though.
Ty,
Gary
