RE: Compatibility broken ? (was 409 Conflict on commit)

Hi,

Nobody on this ?

Why don't the more recent versions of both Subclipse and TortoiseSVN don't
work with SVN 1.3 anymore ?

Thanks,
Paul

Subject: Re: 409 Conflict on commit ?

Hi,

Since someone else who's using the same server didn't had any issues, I
found out that he was using TortoiseSVN 1.4.0, while I reinstalled my PC
with the latest versions... hence 1.4.3. After downgrading to 1.4.0 it works
again.

Now the question is, why is a subrelease of TortoiseSVN breaking
compatibility, and is there any way to resolve this ? Also, would this be
solved if the server was at 1.4 as our iSeries is currently still running
1.3.2 ? (and unfortunatly I can't upgrade it due to OS release
prerequisites).

Would someone also know which is the most recent Subclipse version that I
can use because I have the same issue in there :-(

Kind regards,
Paul
