[ANNOUNCEMENT] [logging] commons-logging 1.0.4 RC2 is now available
the second release candidate for commons-logging release 1.0.4 is now
available from http://cvs.apache.org/~rdonkin/commons-logging/. this is
a very important release since it supports both the existing 1.2.x and
the upcoming 1.3.x series of log4j releases. please take the time to
download and test these new binaries against your existing
installations. (they should be binary compatible.)
(unless unacceptable flaws are found in this release candidate) i plan
to allow seven days for testing this candidate before moving towards
the release vote.

I've been proofreading and correcting the JavaDocs for commons-logging.
Sorry for not getting it finished in time before the second release
candidate.
Anyway I have created a bugreport for this in Bugzilla with #29400
(http://issues.apache.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=29400) and have
attached patches for the changes. All changes are in the JavaDocs only.
