   It's a reasonable change to switch to LinkedHashMap; we had to do this for build reproducibility in a lot of spots.  If you want to open a PR against 7.0.x, I'm happy to make this change in the next point release for 7.0.  
   
   As for back porting, that's a harder problem given the historical split nature of the project.
