I've not seen this particular issue before, but if I could get access to your repository, I might be able to diagnose and fix the problem.  If you're interested, send me a private email of where I can obtain the repository.

I have had this issue, when I was re-building a repository after I had to
recover the hard disk that it was held on.  Previous revisions had been
corrupted.  If you need more information on how I recovered it, let me know.
