           Summary: Ignore unparseable response headers
           Product: HttpClient
           Version: 3.0 Beta 1
          Platform: All
        OS/Version: All
            Status: NEW
          Severity: minor
          Priority: P2
         Component: Commons HttpClient
        AssignedTo: httpclient-dev@jakarta.apache.org
        ReportedBy: lmfridael@planet.nl

HttpParser currently throws a ProtocolException when it can't parse a response
header. I think it's better to silently ignore the header. Browsers do this as
well. A method should not fail due to the presence of a malformed response header.
