   I've also been interested in the idea of having a string representation of Arrow schemas. I drafted a proposal on the mailing list for what a JSON representation might look like:

   If this is something you'd find useful, please chime in on that thread. Feedback on the proposed format (or use cases it should cover) would help build consensus on whether and how to move this forward.
