Status on LDAP support?

Hi all,

What's the status on LDAP user support in Archiva?

hmm, last time I tried it, I think I seen all users in the users screen

Nope. There are no users in the user role configuration view.

If you connect to the Archiva interface with the admin defined in your security.properties by this line:
redback.default.admin=adminuser

you'll can configure user roles.

It works in Archiva. :-)

...BUT......

There is no way to configure user roles for the different
repositories. Users just sign in and have no privileges to the
repositories (not even browse access).

Guess the only way to do this is directly on the user database
(fortunately I have it in MySQL).

Any ideas are welcome!

It may work - but not really something we've tested enough to call a  
feature of 1.0, IMO.

You can try this:
http://maven.apache.org/continuum/documentation/1_1/ 
administrator_guides/security/ldap.html
