Ganglia 3.1x and CDH3

Hi list,

Is there any comments regarding using Ganglia 3.1.x with CDH3? Heard we
need to apply a patch https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/HADOOP-4675

Is it correct?

Thanks & Regards,

Jimson K James

Hello Jimson,

Moving your question to cdh-user@cloudera.org (at
https://groups.google.com/a/cloudera.org/group/cdh-user) since its not
HBase usage specific, but CDH specific. (bcc'd user@hbase.apache.org)

To answer you, HADOOP-4675 is already present in CDH3 as a backport.
You should be able to use Ganglia 3.1 with no issues at all. Do report
any issues you see at issues.cloudera.org/browse/DISTRO
