AFAIK moderators don't see these bounces, they only go to the original sender.
So unless the moderator also sends e-mails to the list they may not know about the bounce.

Should this happen to you again you can let the relevant list moderators know by using the -owner address, i.e. dev-owner@spark.a.o in this case.
