[jira] [Commented] (IGNITE-4019) ODBC and DML: Document the usage on Apache Readme.io

    [ https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/IGNITE-4019?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=15655044#comment-15655044 ]

Denis Magda commented on IGNITE-4019:
-------------------------------------

[~isapego], I think it would be better if we merge existed documentation related to SELECTs [1] with the one you've just created [2]. It would be preferable if there is a single page that shows how to connect to Ignite from ODBC side and execute SELECT, INSERT, UPDATE and DELETE queries. Does it sound reasonable to you?

I've already renamed [2] to "Querying and Modifying Data". So hope you will accept my proposal :)

> Create "a new page" under ODBC section [1] on readme.io naming "DML Support" and put the following content:
> - basic description on DML support by our ODBC driver. There should be a reference to IGNITE-4018 that will contain overall information on DML.
> - list every supported command (INSERT, MERGE, UPDATE, DELETE) providing a small code snippet examples. The examples can be taken from the example that will be enhanced as a part of IGNITE-4016
