Paul Hammant created COUCHDB-2934:
-------------------------------------
Summary: Mac installation documentation could do with advice on how to kill or restart CouchDB after launching
Key: COUCHDB-2934
URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/COUCHDB-2934
Project: CouchDB
Issue Type: Documentation
Components: Documentation
Reporter: Paul Hammant
Page in error - https://github.com/apache/couchdb-documentation/blob/master/src/install/mac.rst
Section 2.3.1
That’s all, now CouchDB is installed on your Mac:
1. Run Apache CouchDB application
2. Open up Futon, the CouchDB admin interface
3. Time to Relax!
In that section (NOT the homebrew 2.3.2, but maybe ALSO the macports section 2.3.3), advice on how to stop or relaunch CouchDB is needed.
Hacker me:
ps aux | grep ouch
kill 12345
kill 12346
