> Providing better apis for users was unfortunately not one of the initial goals of Helix. Our goal was to minimize copy paste code, so we wrote low level methods like having templates for path generation, variable arguments to retrieve cluster data, this assumes that the developer knows the code and the lot of internal details. This is ok for development of Helix code but clearly not good for Helix users. It takes a lot of time for users to understand the low level apis and our lack of java docs dont help much.
