Checked this on Windows 7.  With Word the first page of the document is
displayed in less than a second.  AOO 4.1 Beta is still busy after more than a
minute.  I also tried a developer version with sw debug information.  Stack
indicates that the problem lies in formatting the document.  There are several
layers of

     sw.dll!SwCntntFrm::MakeAll()  Line 1617    C++
     sw.dll!SwFrm::PrepareMake()  Line 389    C++
     sw.dll!SwFrm::Calc()  Line 1111    C++

on the stack.
