Waiting for extras 1.1 to hit the maven repo

Been slowing working to get Extras 1.1 to the Maven central repo.  The repo sync process is different now.  Had to file a JIRA issue for http://repository.apache.org to have a spot set up for log4j, then figure out how to get our already built artifacts to the Apache staging repo (create a jar with a pom.xml, apache-log4j-extras.jar, -sources.jar and -javadoc.jar and .asc files for all of them, then upload a release bundle), do a release from staging to the apache master and then wait for Maven central to pick it up.  Just checked and it hasn't made it to central yet.  I posted on repository@apache.org a few days ago and last I heard the configuration had been tweaked and it should show up soon.

I hope to work on the other companions this weekend but baby may have a different idea for my weekend.
