Apache Karaf 4.1.7 and 4.2.2 release schedule
Hi guys,
As discussed last month, Karaf (and its subprojects) now has a release
cadence (release every 3 months).
So, I'm preparing Karaf 4.1.7 release this week (I hope to have the vote
started during the week end), and Karaf 4.2.2 preparation is planned for
next week.

Hi guys,
I'm very sorry but I'm sick since last Thursday and very tired. I'm
feeling better today but I will take today to rest and I will be back in
the business tomorrow.
It means that I have to postpone the original schedule for a week.
4.1.7 will be on vote end of the coming week and 4.2.2 the following
one. It gives us time to release the dependency projects (like ops4j ones).
Again, my apologizes.
See you all tomorrow.

We also need release OPS4J pax-exam 4.13.0 before Karaf 4.2.2, karaf need pax-exam 4.13.0 to run tests under JDK11.

My work on pax-web with Undertow 2 and Tomcat 9 (and servlet-api 4) is
scheduled for pax-web 8 (and, probably, karaf 4.3.x)

Hi guys,
just a quick update. I cancel Karaf 4.1.7 release due to an issue
introduced by KARAF-5939 (the distribution archives are not signed by
the release plugin). I'm fixing that today and Karaf 4.1.7 should be in
vote tonight.
On the other hand, I will prepare Karaf 4.2.2 this week, the vote is
planned to start during the week end.
