[jira] [Created] (DISPATCH-35) On-demand outbound connectors
Ted Ross created DISPATCH-35:
--------------------------------
Summary: On-demand outbound connectors
Key: DISPATCH-35
URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/DISPATCH-35
Project: Qpid Dispatch
Issue Type: Sub-task
Components: Container
Affects Versions: 0.2
Reporter: Ted Ross
Assignee: Ted Ross
In order to support waypoints (DISPATCH-34), the router must be able to create on-demand outbound connections to the waypoint's container.
This feature allows the router to be configured with an on-demand connector, complete with host/port, authentication, and SSL information. This connector lies dormant until some other entity in the router needs a connection (i.e. a "waypoint" with a live subscription or messages for delivery).
