Attached a patch with the fix. To detect the EAR version it has extra checking through referenced projects to detect whether there is a ejb-3 module in the dependencies (not all EAR modules have direct jee 5 dependency).
It also has an extra artifact id (group 'javax.ejb' and id 'ejb-api') to check for better detection of ejb-3 modules (tested on JBoss and Seam 2).
