Error in create table

Hi all,
I have set mysql as my metastore but when I try to create a table the follwoing error comes.. FAILED: Error in metadata: MetaException(message:javax.jdo.JDODataStoreException: Insert of object "org.apache.hadoop.hive.metastore.model.MStorageDescriptor@1316bc6e" using statement "INSERT INTO `SDS` (`SD_ID`,`SERDE_ID`,`OUTPUT_FORMAT`,`LOCATION`,`NUM_BUCKETS`,`INPUT_FORMAT`,`IS_STOREDASSUBDIRECTORIES`,`CD_ID`,`IS_COMPRESSED`) VALUES (?,?,?,?,?,?,?,?,?)" failed : Unknown column 'IS_STOREDASSUBDIRECTORIES' in 'field list'


Please help me with this.

Seems that you have created wrong table structure in hive metastore.

Which hive are you using ??  you need to check which schema is required for
your Hadoop version .
