Hudson failure over the weekend

The hudson.zones.apache.org machine was rebooted over the weekend.   
When the machine comes back up, /tmp is unwritable which causes the  
hudson builds to fail.  I filed an INFRA ticket last month about  
this, but it still hasn't been fixed.

I'll try to resubmit various patches that got -1.
