   Showing tooltip when hovering on legend is not supported, so this is not a bug.
   What if we provide a new event called `legendhovered` similar to [legendselected](https://echarts.apache.org/en/api.html#events.legendselected) only that it triggers when the user hovers on the legend? If this meets your requirements, please open a new issue for feature request.
